BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (Little, Brown, October 2010)

From Amazon:

Ethan Wate used to think of Gatlin, the small Southern town he had always called home, as a place where nothing ever changed. Then he met mysterious newcomer Lena Duchannes, who revealed a secret world that had been hidden in plain sight all along. A Gatlin that harbored ancient secrets beneath its moss-covered oaks and cracked sidewalks. A Gatlin where a curse has marked Lena's family of powerful Supernaturals for generations. A Gatlin where impossible, magical, life-altering events happen.

Sometimes life-ending.

Together they can face anything Gatlin throws at them, but after suffering a tragic loss, Lena starts to pull away, keeping secrets that test their relationship. And now that Ethan's eyes have been opened to the darker side of Gatlin, there's no going back. Haunted by strange visions only he can see, Ethan is pulled deeper into his town's tangled history and finds himself caught up in the dangerous network of underground passageways endlessly crisscrossing the South, where nothing is as it seems.

As You Wish- Jackson Pearce

So I have been sitting on this review for a while. I am sorta in aw of this book. And I honestly don't know why. Besides that It is great.

I found Jackson Pearce VIA her YouTube Channel, she was giving a way a copy of her book AS YOU WISH. Sadly I didn't win, but I fell in love with her fun self.  Her vlog were great, and also she was funny. Her video "Twilight made me Gay" I died laughing, and she also has a video where she eats oreo's for Modles  don't eat Cookies. Again with the humour. Jackson her self, makes me want to read her books. Guess what?  after a (almost) year I got As You Wish, by Jackson Pearce.

It was great, I loved, Jackson's humour leaked through it, and it broke my heart in some places. I read it in three days. This book was duo point of views, Jinn or jinn and Viola, I really loved both point of views, I found it odd to switch points of views so often, some of the parts where the the point's of view I went crazy because I wanted to find out what happened to them and then the POV just swiched. And there were something to change plot wise because it was too hard to deal with. At that point I did cry.

I love the character progression of Jinn. He went from the strict jinn into Jinn who is having his world shock upside-down. I love the character of Lawrence cause honestly who doesn't love a-girls-gay-best-friend. I think Viola share through the novel is great, how she would basically give up anything for him to be happy, as would he, which gets them into a situation, but enough of that. Viola had bugged me at some points, but that was mostly around the time of her first wish.

Over all this book is extremely cute, heartbreaking and lovable. Good Chick-Lit read with a twist of Supernatural along with the touch of masculine air for those girls like me who don't like Chick-Lit.

This book really tough me the value of a wish. I look forward to reading Jackson's Sisters Red, I am a werewolf junkie, so I am truly looking forward to this.

Should be doing an essay so I will make this short.

The bodyfinder had me up until the we hours of the morning. I had a midterm a couple of days after the book came out and I am shocked to say that I studied. I did so little studying, Its such amazing book. It had me griping the pages trying to find out what will happen next. This book too me 3 sections only because I had class that I needed sleep for.

Now everyone says they Love JAY and I see this, but where he is not forgettable cause he really is sweet he not just on the top of my list. I like him but some of his actions i didn't like. (If you want to argue this with me drop me a PM/Email) I don't really like him, I can see how other people love him hes just not my cup of tea.

Vi was amazing, I don't think i would of done some of the things that she would of done. but still all the same it was amazing and strong I love her.

For those of you who don't know what The Body Finder is about. It is basically about a girl Vilote who can find bodies of those who have been murdered. Its a Mystery with a supernatural twist to it. Go check it out. you wont regret it.

Remember Me : Review
I love you

Remember Me

By far one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It made me laugh, it made me think, it almost made me cry. I am having a hard time writing this review. I loved this movie, and I really want to say more then this. but I don't know if I can.

Everyone said there was going to be a twist. But I didn't think it was going to be that. my advice to you is don't try and figure it out. You won't figure it out. The screen play writer William Fetters did an amazing job. I am in aw of him, and am adding him to google alerts like right now.

Wow, this movie blew me away. There were lines that I kinda die mainly because of my twilight back ground. When Aly said to Tyler "Would you risk your eternal soul" I kinda laughed out loud, and I was the only person in the theater laughing.

Moving on to the acting of the film. I have to say that I am a HUGE fan of Emilie de Ravin acting, I loved her in Roswell, even though from Episode one (okay 20 but it was the first ep with tess) I hatted Tess. And she was an amazing actor, you had to hate her, but there were some points in season two even though you hate her, you felt for her, and I knew Emilie would be good but I had no idea how good she would play this role. I think she did it perfectly. And Pierce Brosnan my old man crush almost 57 and by god be still my heart I love him to death, I have to say that he was one of the reason I went to this. His acting was great the Jack Ass Father role suites him well. Now, Robert Pattinson . . . what to say. He was 100 times better in this then he was in New Moon, and Twilight.  His acting was so much better. In a couple of movies he might be amazing. It's not perfect but who is, the rest of the cast just brought him up.

K enough said about Robert Pattinson. The movie was great, the camera's angles actually blew me a way a little bit. How they worked everything together, the shot of the black board kinda blew me a way, the last twenty minutes of the film, the angles made all the difference.

Five stars, and that takes a lot to do.

Might me more I need to sleep on it.

I love you

so what do we think of the Beautiful Darkness cover? I like it. I like the gates and the stars i kinda dont like how there is no dot on the eye. and I really dont like the A in Beautiful Darkness  I like the A in Darkness and I really like the "s" I think the Darkness Cover doesnt feel as dark and creepy and the Creatures. and the stars seem too out of place I live in a small city 52000 people and don't see stars scattred like that, I've been in the middle of no where (40min to the close's house, over a hour to the nearist street light, I could see every star, you didn't need a metero shower to see shooting stars we counted 40. I've been in towns like Gatilin Country where everyone knows everyone big houses and the stars arn't like that, so its kinda bugging me. Though I love the Gate.
